Is anyone taking repatha
I have a 1900 calcium score no stents or bypass 50% blockages age 65. I’ve been on statins for 20 years. Just had heart angiogram . They want to now treat with repatha

Try to stick with it a few days to see if the bad effects get better. This is a highly effective treatment for high ldl. Maybe you will adjust to it over time. I’ve had similar reactions but trying to stick with it as statins are much worse for me. This dropped my ldl to 17!!!! Good luck !
Thank you. Good to know!
Are you working with a doctor that is helping you?
It took me three months to finally adjust. I also was a little tired from that medication Repatha but now I feel better when I have taken it, then when I didn’t have it!
I did my first injection a few days back. Had night sweats and a bad leg cramp that night but since then, I feel fine. Maybe just a coincidence. I’ve had those issues before, more so during statin therapy. Off statins 8 blissful months.
I had issues with probably my first 5-6 injections, but they leveled off - sometimes I feel fatigue the day after my injection, and I get occasional random leg cramps. Now my LDL dropped 80% in 6 months, my angina is gone, and my blood pressure is beginning to drop a point every few months - my cardiologist says staying on Repatha actually helps clear the arteries, so I am thrilled.
Nice to hear a good story!
