Iron Depletion in Blood related to COVID?

Posted by stellm @stellm, Jun 11, 2021

Has there been any reports of iron depletion in the blood after receiving the Pfizer vaccine?

Couldn't walk more than 100 ft without resting. Heavy breathing. Sleeping a lot. Feeling spacey. I was fine sitting at my desk

Exactly the same. I'm ok sitting but stand up - dizziness, blurred vision, shortness of breath, numb hands and feet. After I collapsed in December was diagnosed with iron-deficiency anemia. Doctor did mention he had heard it could be result of Covid vaccine. Two iron infusions, daily iron supplements. 2 months later a lot better. Feel perfectly normal sitting. Breathlessness gone, but dizziness and occasional blurred vision persisting. Fatigue and tiredness still there. Doc says he will redo my bloods again in 12 weeks.

I would be very interested to know what the volunteer mentors on this site think after reading so many peoples' personal experiences. Do they still think there's no connection between the COVID jabs and iron depletion ?

Not to mention this has to be a very small percentage of the folks having similar issues that have found and participate on this site.

I certainly think so no matter what doctors say. I took Pfizer and one booster and have low iron. Now I have Thyroid cancer and my PSA is over 7.0. Do I think it is related to the Pfizer shot, absolutely, but no way to prove it. I hope no one else develops cancer.

I had 4 pints of blood transfused over night and within 24 hours I felt 20 years younger. I don't think it's lasting though. All the symptoms are starting again even though I am now taking iron pills now.

Same had one unit of blood immediately felt energy back, but feel less energy now it's been 20 days. Taking Ferrous Sulfate Elixor every other day,but is this going to affect my liver? For those thinking of getting the experimental booster DON'T DO IT. What I need to know is how long will this booster last or affect our bodies cells/mRNA. I hope the Pfizer Covid Bivalent vaccine is not a permanent culprit causing havoc on my once healthy body, with no underlying conditions or anemia. Are we Guinea Pigs?

Haven’t felt quite right since I received my 2nd (Pfizer) Covid shot in April ‘21. Went for annual checkup in Summer ‘21 but skipped the bloodwork (weight and blood pressure were good) Scheduled annual checkup in Nov. ‘22 but couldn’t see new Dr. until Jan.’23. What I had noticed in the last year was 1. Tired easily 2. If kneeling got out of breath quickly 3. Laying down if I got up quickly felt light headed 4. Recently (in last 2 months) towards end of daily walk felt winded, light headed, heart beating faster than normal and calfs very tight and hurting. Went for bloodwork after Dr. visit and got call to see Dr. asap about results.… He informed me I was extremely iron deficient and asked if it ran in family? It didn’t, and if you looked at my history you would see I’d never been. Am 68 years old and have never taken anything but daily vitamins and supplements. I knew I shouldn’t have taken the vaccine and did it anyway. Another dope who trusted the science.

I felt the same as you after getting Pfizer Bivalent booster after two months I worried medical staff, get a blood transfusion. That helped but Hgb 7.9 and Hematocrit still low. Taking iron elizer but don't feel good most of the time. Have to wait until the vaccine diminishes from my cells. What a fool I was getting the vaccine!

My 38 year old son also got thyroid cancer after the vaccination. Very rare form of cancer for a male.

I too recently found my Ferratin levels are low at 8. I’m tired a lot. I gave blood twice last year because I hear about the need for more blood donations. It’s helpful to read it can take 6 months to build back the blood. Thank you. I don’t eat much meat but will start eating more broccoli and spinach and take Vitamin C with my iron supplement on an empty stomach.
Thank you for the discussion.

I have had 4 of the Pfizer vaccines. In December 2022 I collapsed on an overseas trip. Diagnosis iron-deficiency anemia. Had scopes. I had been feeling sick for about 4 months but doctor diagnosed high blood pressure. Now had two iron infusions and on iron supplements. SLOWLY feeling better but hearing more and more people in my community who had had vaccine and have been diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia. Doctor will repeat bloods May 2023 to see if there is an improvement. The doctor who did the scopes expressed concerns that the Covid vaccine could be responsible. I live in South Africa, but my daughter's friends and colleagues in Australia are reporting the same incidents of anemia!

5 months to re-test blood that's too long may i suggest 4-6 wks if your hemoglobin drops too low your dangerously headed to die.

Iron… very low normal range. Iron saturation below normal at 17%. Fatigued after exerting the slightest. Heart pumps fast to get oxygen to body.
This condition had been on going for 9 months, Under VS Dr. Care. Doctor is stumped …I’m requesting hematologist and possibly cardiac screening….although EKG, Ultra Sound and Stress Test are good.
I am 77 year old male. Comments??
