My angina is totally resolved and I do not have shortness of breath. I am recovered, left with a mild increase in irregular heartbeat. So for me the procedure was successful.

Thank you so much for your info. I appreciate it. Im 90 years old but in good shape except my life has been on hold as I cant walk far without getting exhausted and get angina. I had a slight heart attack 2 years ago and was put on medications which helped for a while. My blockage then was 70% in 2 main arteries and 95 in another. I was very active before the attack bowling, golfing, etc. Hopefully I will get my energy back to improve my quality of life.
You give me hope. Thanks again….Fos
Hi All: Had my intravsacular lithotripsy May 2, plus stent placement. Have had no more light pressure in my heart area. Must not have been getting the oxygen I needed to feel "normal". Hope to keep on movin' and groovin' at 75 until it's time to shed the mortal coil. Best to all.
I had my procedure a couple of days ago. I was on the machine for over 3 hours. What an ordeal. My one artery that was blocked 70% last angiogram was blocked 99%. They tried and tried to put stents in but to no avail. They did manage to balloon one artery a bit to increase blood flow but I feel a little better but not much. I follow up with my Cardiologist in a coupe of weeks to see if there are any other options.
Only spent one night in hospital so they could monitor me.
They went in through my wrist and the groin.
Thank you all that replied to my post…Foss
I had it done and had 3 stents implanted. The first artery was a widow maker which was 99 percent occluded the other two stents 90 percent occlusion. I doing well. Eating and walking on treadmill 5 or 6 times a week.
