If it’s not one thing….It’s three
I recently realized that four short years ago, i had only one Doctor I saw more than once a year - my Rheumatologist. The others (skin check, mammogram, vision, primary) got a drive by annually for labs, thanks and see you next year.
Now it seems everything is wearing out simultaneously. Each has become as demanding as a toddler. And it is getting on my nerves!!! 🙄

😂😂 I strongly relate!!
Does anyone have home remedies for gout...not just one toe, but a swollen foot from midpoint through toes, and painful walking, sleeping. Doc ordered Xrays of the right foot, thought it was not gout, but this morning the swelling was very noticeable. A google search showed pictures' of exactly what my foot looked like!
In case it helps I was at the same place with being slightly prediabetic last fall. I learned that there are some lifestyle changes that can help. I cut way back on sweet treats and lost a bit of weight. That's helped me get into the normal range. I feel better now. Bad osteoarthritis here too which slows me down.
I agree. The holidays took a toll ❤️. Now the only “sweet treat” I’m buying is a very good natural ice cream, because I actually don’t like ice cream and won’t eat much. Cutting out too much I find I’ll go so long than binge on junk - luckily I don’t like cake either 🙂
My mom keeps a prescription med on hand to take when there’s a flare. They help tremendously pretty quick, but cause stomach upset. However, getting on top of the pain is crucial. I’ll try to find the name of it. It’s commonly prescribed for gout.
Thanks for the encouragement ..
Is is Colchicine?
What a shock it was to become diabetic at age 78! Now I am taking insulin but have never had a single symptom of the disease...
Are you type 1 or 2? You can get either at any age, though most think children get type 1 and older adults get type 2.
Im pre diabetic at this point. Tho im expecting to transition to type 2 soon
