If it’s not one thing….It’s three

I recently realized that four short years ago, i had only one Doctor I saw more than once a year - my Rheumatologist. The others (skin check, mammogram, vision, primary) got a drive by annually for labs, thanks and see you next year.
Now it seems everything is wearing out simultaneously. Each has become as demanding as a toddler. And it is getting on my nerves!!! 🙄

Why do you expect to transition to type 2? Are your numbers so high?

@celia16

Are you type 1 or 2? You can get either at any age, though most think children get type 1 and older adults get type 2.

I have lots of antibodies so my doctor says I am a type 1.5.

Because they have been steadily increasing over time. Like 120-140 fasting

Of course my brother - who is a type 2 on meds- said he would kill for those numbers 🙂

Very sorry about your difficulties.

You are not alone.

Same thing happening to me.

"Everything falling apart."

It's all very disturbing.

I try to find some peace in the middle of all this.

Sometimes successful, sometimes not.

Best wishes.

Take care.

I can so relate. This month they've diagnosed me with carpal tunnel, pinched nerve in neck and Polymyalgia Rheumatic. Prior to this a was thinking I was pretty healthy. Gonna be 75 this month.

So sorry for a new diagnosis of PMR. My RA is a witch but PMR is another level because of the high levels of prednisone required.
Good luck!!
