The doctor told my dad , the old kidney still working a little a is the responsable .
He has 5 weeks since the transplant

I have tremors, or a shaky body, also my hair is really thinning out. Also headaches, if my Tacro gets too high.

Thinking of you. Hope your dad is feeling better. He needs to be taking his transplant meds. Is he taking them?

Hi @rosemarya yes is taking his medicine! And the vomiting and diarrhea just for one night he is normal this morning we are thinking was something in food . Thanks God . This process is really scared for me . Becouse every symptom I think is the kidney failure back . No body understand my afraid .

Hi has anyone survived a bk virus while having a kidney transplant. My creatinine I high and gfr is low. It has finally come down to under 600 and off two immune suppressants until it goes away.Been having a hard time since months post kidney transplant. Any advice would be appreciated.

When I had a mild kidney rejection episode they boosted my anti-rejection meds up a huge amount for a few weeks and this allowed BK to replicate. It reached over 100,000 copies at its peak. After reducing the anti-rejection meds to my normal levels the BK became no longer detectable and it has remained so for the last 8 months.
