Hi @peggynurse. I take my Camzyos at night. That was the recommendation from my cardiologist and also from my nurse case manager. The reasoning was that side effects can include such things as drowsiness, dizziness, and fainting. In my case I have been taking omeprizole, which apparently can increase the severity of these side effects, but my dosage is low, so I was given the ok to stay on it when taking Camzyos. But to be safe, they suggested I take the omeprizole in the morning and the Camzyos in the evening so that if there is a spike in the side effects, I will be more likely to be asleep instead of at the wheel when I'm hit by drowsiness, dizziness or fainting. So far I have not noticed any side effects from the Camzyos whatsoever, even with the omeprazole in on the act. That's my experience, but I would encourage you to ask your cardiologist, nurse case manager, or pharmacist before making changes. (Maybe you are a nurse knowledgeable about such things (@peggynurse?) but I won't make assumptions.)
I been on 5mg just over 1 month started out taking in the AM and after 3 weeks had a talk with my nurse and my trouble sleeping at night. Recommend to start at bed time sleep is so much better!
Good day. I’ve been on Camzyos 5mg since November 2023 and have always taken it in the morning. After reading the comments here, and rereading the directions on the bottle, (which says take once daily) I have switched to the night time. I have found now that I have less trouble falling asleep and sleep more soundly.
The drug has done wonders for me. Being tired and out of breath are things of the past. Hopefully it will continue.
When i made my switch from morning to night i did it over a course of 4 days falling back 3-4 hours each day till i started taking at 9 pm
From what i have been told by my cardiac Dr this camzyos has a long half life so if you miss a few doses its not a huge deal.
So it wont be a problem missing your morning dose and taking at bed time!
I know it has helped me get better sleep

Thank you. Did you just skip the am dose and take it in the evening?
I only take the 5mg at night along with my blood pressure and beta-blocker medication.
I’m thinking of changing my beta blocker to nighttime also - currently take in am.
I’ll do the Camzyos switch to PM first.
Thanks!
do you have more energy during the day?
