Never-ending squamous cell cancers appearing on head and face
I have had extensive squamous cell cancers removed from my head and face for years. Seems never ending. Any advice?

Definitely feel for you.
You may have a genetic predisposition as do I.
Nicotinamide is a D3 supplement and shows some promise in reducing Ak’s and squamous cell.
Photodynamic therapy on the face and neck is also good and it’s typically covered by insurance.
The chemical applied seems to target pre-cancer cells that are engaged with blue light.
I would like to do CO2 to my face and chest. It is more ablative and can take away years sun damage and has cosmetic positives.
It’s expensive though.
I am currently going through my own unfortunate diagnosis of a very aggressive, squamous cell on my forehead.
I am discussing doing Brachytherapy with my doctor.
Hope this helps:)

Have you thought about immunotherapy? I know there is 50% success rate and a number of Side effects.
I’ve had non-cancerous AKS frozen off, but I also had an ED&C done 4 times and once for Mohs surgery because of SCC on my scalp. My somewhat controlled PTSD came out in the open in a big way with the Mohs surgery. The social anxiety and depression over the last almost 2 years has paralyzed me. Yes, it is never ending. If the SCC returns you may want to look into Image Guided SRT. I will consider it if I have to. It’s time consuming – about 3 treatments a week for something like 5-6 weeks, but supposedly all it leaves is a sun burn spot that will fade away. It could change the skin pigment, but there are plenty of cover ups on the market for that.
