I have a neurological illness that has puzzled doctors (here in Austin, TX.) because they can't identify what's wrong with me. Will The Mayo Clinic give me treatment for my neurological illness??

My symptoms were very high anxiety 100 times worse than ever unable to sit still the overwhelming urgency to move I would be pacing all night long all day long not being able to sit down my leg will be bouncing up and down if I sat on the couch I couldn't lay down never was comfortable feel like I was going crazy overwhelming fear of confusion not being able to sleep due to the urgent need to having to move

It sounds a lot like Akathisia, a terrifying movement disorder, often caused by an adverse drug reaction. The antidote is usually Ativan or Clonazepam. For some people, Benadryl (diphenhydramine) works well as an antidote. However, for me, personally, diphenhydramine multiples the intensity of Akathisia one hundred times over. Only Ativan or Clonazepam works as an antidote for me. Unfortunately for some people, this horrible adverse reaction to a medication never goes away, rendering the sufferer unable to work or do anything at all actually. The constant need to move, the sheer exhaustion it causes, & the hideous feeling of knowing that you can't stop moving is combined with a horrible unexplainable overwhelming mental vortex of agony that sucks you into a special place of hell on Earth.

Mayo helped me when no one else could. I have superficial siderosis. It’s so rare that almost all doctors have never heard anything about it. But Dr. Kumar and Dr. Marsh knew everything. They diagnosed and operated. The operation didn’t cure my SS, it didn’t remove the iron deposits so I continue to have SS. SS has contaminated my central nervous system, including my cerebellum. I hope and pray the best for you. Please google Mayo Clinic/Steve GRINSTEAD.
