I am so damn tired

Despite anxiety and rapid heart rate all I want to do is sleep. I have so much trouble waking up. Anyone else?? One month post COVID

I can relate to what you are going through. I am almost exactly 8 weeks out from my first symptoms of acute Covid, and I struggle daily with fatigue, post-exertional malaise, sore muscles, headaches, sore throat, brain fog, and elevated heart rate with minimal exertion (like cleaning the bathroom or kitchen, getting dressed, cooking, etc.). I have a limited amount of energy available for the day, and if I push too far with either physical or mental activity, all of my symptoms increase dramatically the next day or three. I will literally be so fatigued that I will have to do almost nothing but lay in bed all day. I discovered recently that even driving too much can cause a crash. I have had to drastically reduce how many hours I work (and have transitioned to exclusively working from home).

One thing that I have found helpful is to use an app to track my symptoms, exertion levels, sleep and heart rate variability so I can tell when I am getting out of balance and adjust accordingly. I use the free app Visible: Long Covid and ME/CFS. I really like it because it is tailored to monitoring the kinds of symptoms and triggers associated with long Covid. I wish you luck with your recovery!

The mayo clinic discussions are a life saver and a thorough research answers to so many symptoms that we all have & praise the Lord can finally share inspect with out feeling like there's something wrong with us or no matter how many doctors visits we could ever get answer to- I heard with Shingles don't know that much same with Covid on & on just to name a few had the same reaction after a trip o Maine many years ago with the tiger mosquito after bringing in a multi page report- we really don't have any research on that or that- well how does or did research began on any symptoms or problems one @ a time till you start to build a case that should be investigated so thank you all and God Bless a speedy recovery and knowing were not alone
