Horrible leg pain with fibromyalgia
Lately, I have been having terrible leg pains I think are associated with my fibromyalgia. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, because of my pain and fatigue I am unable to lose weight which is another downer on top of everything else. Any suggestions for that? I really am feeling rather defeated lately by fibromyalgia and my depression all tied into one.

Hi, Sorry everyone is suffering with Fibro, I’ve had it now for 25 years, started after a horrible car accident. My legs ache everyday, makes it hard to walk and I feel like I’m wading through concrete and I feel like I’m a 1000 lbs. I take Lyrica that helps and Doc told me I also have Restless leg syndrome. I sleep with the heating pad under or over my lower legs most every night and I’m finding relief, some relief. If it rains, forget about it. Pain all day. Hope that might help!
Gabapentin for restless leg syndrome helps quiet the pain as well. Ask your doctor if it's possible for you, because it has given me relief
Magnesium oil from Amazon rubbed on feet and legs before bed.
Husband says works great for arthritis too.
Magnesium Glycinate at night.
No more leg pain.
None
I take Magnesium Glycinate 500 before bed. Also, for foot, leg, back and hip pain I appply a 1:1 mixture of Magnesium lotion, 4-5% Lidocane lotion and Frankincense and Murr Oil (all from Amazon). It is a great almost instant pain reliever and quickly works on leg and foot cramps. I also try to stay hydrated with electrolytes. Magnesium Oil has a tendancy to give me a rash, but the loation does not.
This mixture works best for me after trying so many OTC rubs.
Of course, morning/before-bed hot showers and stretching also helps. I also have a heating blanket. Whatever works...
Yes, rain, storms, etc...When the barometric presser goes down (storm or storm approaching) I end up with a Fibro-flair that lasts till the barametric pressure returns to 30mHg. As I understand, any fluctuation within 2 points over or under 30 seems to be the Pain trigger for many. I hope this insight helps someone.
Have you tried hydrotherapy? Walking and exercising in warm water helps me so much and has done for 28 years. If you swim, better still. If a warm shower helps your fibro it will help so much more to walk in warm water. It will also help with weight as the gentle exercise is good exercise for those of us with fibro. Good luck.
I have had restless leg syndrome for 20 years or so, ropinrole helps quite the nerves and makes you sleepy, ask your doctor about it
Doesn’t Ropinirole make you tired next morning ? Even the lowest dose 0.25 mg made me so weak.
