Hi 👋 all . I'm new here. I am just gettin worse daily it seems at the moment. Diagnosed 2023.i am on duloxetine 120mg and doc wants me to start gabapentin also . I'm so tired of the shock pains in head but now in spine and arm.

My consultants at the hospital’s pain clinic, asked my GP to prescribe me 60 mg Duloxatine twice a day, together with two paracetamol x four times daily. Also Bupronorphine patches) (yes it’s an opioid) that releases 10 micrograms every hour into my bloodstream. I have to change the patch each week, on the same day and at the same time, to maintain the continuity the delivery of the medication. This all has reduced the pain to a level that I can handle - it hasn’t stopped the pain but, it has brought it to a level that I can handle.

Unfortunately, cannabis is not legal in the U.K. Please, may I ask if you smoke it, or eat it via cake/sweets?? 😉

I buy flower and cook it up with coconut oil and take it orally, I also make a cannabis salve that works great for pain. Lucky for me it is legal here in California.

I take Pramipexol before bed for restless legs. It has been working fine, but lately I seem to be getting more spasm legs an cramp instead of jus the strong twitching and annoyance.

If I have to, I take a mirapex which works immediately but the next day I often have a lot of tiredness and feel miserable. Last night it started so I walked around the house, did a lot of stretches and rolled a ball on the wall for my gluts and thigh, I had a much better night.

What does RLS feel like? I have a weird feeling in the bottom of my feet kind of between a tickle and something else and goes up my legs. It makes me feel like I have to pee. then I absentmindedly shake my legs to get the feeling out. I also feel like things are crawling all over me.

That sounds like RLS keep doing that if it goes away. That is so wonderful I get where it will not stop and feels like crawlys all over my leg and I have to keep moving it.
A roller sometimes helps, walking, and stretches, then finally a mirapex as a last resort.
