Has anyone reversed stage 3 of Fibrosis?

I'm curious if anyone has reversed stage 3 fibrosis? I keep hearing different things as to whether or whether or not this is possible, even from doctors. I have autoimmune hepatitis, for context.

Have you tried a liver friendly diet? I recently had an ALT/AST peak and found a wealth of information online. I was able to reduce the levels by half.

@tillymack Thanks so much for your response!
Did you reduce your ALT/AST levels by half or your fibrosis by half?
Thankfully, my enzymes are currently normal. I was curious about whether stage 3 fibrosis is reversible.
In terms of diet, what do you think most helped you? I know that the mediterranean diet is good for the liver.

I had an ultrasound and fibroscan which fortunately showed no fibrosis. As soon as I saw the peaked ALT and AST, I started researching online. I stopped all medications and supplements with doctor's permission. Before the follow up blood test, I was sure to drink lots of water. I also changed my diet to emphasize whole foods, protein and fat (fresh vegetables and fruit, eggs, salmon, mozzarella cheese, low fat cottage cheese, and nonfat yogurt) and minimize processed foods and carbohydrates (pasta, rice, fruit juice). Since I made all these changes before the repeat blood test, I really don't know what did the trick.

This is great news re: your AST/ALT enzymes!
I have been eating similarly to this and also suspect it has a role to play in my enzyme stabilization though I am also on an immmumosuppresant for the AIH.
Like you, I stopped all the naturopathic stuff as I think it may have interfered with my progress at one point.
I really focused on upping my protein.
With no fibrosis, it sounds like your liver is doing well!

@humbug
Congratulations on stabilizing your enzymes!
On another note, I referred myself to a virologist for additional support. She approved of my diet and limited my meds and supplements to a multivitamin and calcium for osteopenia.
