Had my aorta grafted twice, valve twice also
Does anyone know how many times you should have imaging to check the graft? My surgeries were in 2014 and 2018 and it's only been imaged once. If anyone has any input please let me know and thank you!

As a reference, I had an ascending aortic aneurysm repaired in 2020, and a brain aneurysm repaired with stents twice (2017 and 2020), I also have a bicuspid aortic valve that will need replacement at some point. My cardiologist orders an echo every year mainly to check the valve but they also look at the graft, and full aortic (groin, abdomen and chest), neck and head MRIs (3 hours in the machine) every 3-4 years to ensure no other aneurysms are appearing. My cardiologist is an aortic disease and aneurysm specialist.

Thanks for the reply and input. I wish you well, stay tough and thanks again
I had a Bentall procedure in Sep 2024. The valve and graft gets checked via echocardiogram and CT with & Without contrast at least once a year. Its also to check the 4.6cm aneurysm on the distal ascending aorta. I had an echo done late June and the aorta is stable, the graft and valve are perfect, the other stuff done that was done is patent. However, my tricuspid valve has moderate regurgitation and the pulmonary artery is showing some dilation.
