Gastric Bypass
My daughter is not doing good since the surgery, miré than 20 hospitals admissions she goes days without able to eat or drink. Finally the Gastroenterologist told us that is nothing they can do for her, she is only 28 years old. I’m supposed to wait for her to die? Feeling frustrated with our medical system.

Hi, @va10ri5lu - really sorry to hear things are not going well for your daughter since gastric bypass.
You mentioned your daughter going days without eating or drinking. Does she state anything about why this is? Is she having other issues following surgery?
For the last 2 years during admissions. They said it was Gastroparesis, some of the doctors said it was impossible to be Gastroparesis but they keep using that diagnosis until in other hospital they did the test an they confirmed it was no Gastroparesis, then they said endometriosis because she has episodes every 4 to 6 weeks and after many test they confirmed it was no endometriosis, now her Gastroenterologist said that her vagus nerve was damaged during the gastric bypass surgery and unfortunately there is no cure for that she keeps having all this episodes I see her declining, we are desperate I don’t want to loose her
Gastric Bypass was recommended for her to loose weight and to better her depression now she is in 32 pills at day
