Did you ever figure out what caused your full body numbness? I have this and I'm really scared but I also have deficiencies so I don't know what is what I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy.
I have.I have a ton of symptoms, but loss of feeling in the whole trunk of my body and sensation.I can feel me touching the outside of my belly, but all other sensation is gone.I don't feel food going down to my belly either. All the strength in my diaphram/sternum area is gone as well.I don't have that muscle pushing the belly down anymore. It is so bizarre. My synptoms came on after an iron infusion/possibly covid.I am thinking Covid is more likely because it is beyond weird. The neurologists are testing me for èverything and have not found much. They don't understand what it is.I have been tested for all kinds of autoimmune diseases too.My Brain MRI along with other tests came back clear.Did you happen to get covid?
April 27,2022 my right foot slipped on me a couple of times. The very next day I couldn’t walk right. It was like I had to tell my leg to move. I just happened to have a reg check up with my Dr on that day. She got me in to see a neurologist but it was 3 weeks out. Exactly a week later I started having numbness/tingling on the right side of my face. Went to ER for I was afraid I was having a stroke. I had two Ct scans and a MRI and was admitted to the hospital for observation. Everything came back normal. Went to my Neurologist appt and had a nerve study. It was normal too. The numbness/tingling then started to go throughout my entire body. My walking at this point was completely off. I couldn’t walk my normal pace. But I could function. Then July 1 I started feeling really weird. I was so tired, short of breath and was just not myself. Next day I was like a zombie. No energy, tingling/numbness very intense. Went back to ER had another Ct scan and more blood work. Everything coming back normal. Saw Neurologist again few weeks later. He ran every test possible. All coming back normal. He told me to get a second opinion for a higher study cause there was no more he could do. I see another one in Dallas in October (I live 6 hours from there) In a nutshell month of July I spent most the time in bed for I was so exhausted and the numbness/tingling was consuming me. August got a little better but still struggling. In the meantime I had to go on an anti depressant for my anxiety was through the roof. Never in my life did I think I would have to do that. First week of September I was still struggling. The last three weeks were actually pretty good. I could go all day without having to take a nap and the tingling was only mild. I work full time and couldn’t make it through the day without taking a nap on my lunch hour. Then last night my numbness/tingling started again and actually hitting new spots on my body. I had a very mild Covid in November. My reg Dr believes I am having long Covid. And all the reading I have been doing I believe so too. My neurologist would not diagnose me with that. I hope you find answers!
I fell 2 years ago Feb. 3, from tripping over a box that was put down behind me as I walked forward and turned around and hit it at a local store. I had only mild neuropathy for years before that. I hit the box, flew up in the air 3-4 feet, and landed 5-6 feet away on the concrete floor. I did not think I hit my head, but as it was described to me later when the pain came in the base of my skull, though it was throbbing very bad after the accident, that I had shaken my brain and had a concussion. I was 78 at the time. Two months later, lots of pain came in, tingling, pain, numbness, etc.. Tests showed Stage 4 sensory nerve damage but could not get my Doctor to give me a test until 5 months later, and now it only progresses every day. My bad so called idiopathic neuropathy I know was caused by the fall, but I am alone in that diagnosis. Not being able to get immediate help at the hospital or get the Doctors to think outside the box has caused my life to be changed forever. My problem is Stage 4 sensory nerve damage which is causing all the pain and numbness in any part of my body and will only get worse. Being 80 and only allowing Doctors 15 minutes per patient these days, you might as well do get on AI and let them help you, and keep pushing for your rights as a patient.
I am having this now. Could you tell me if you found out any answers on why you're having numbness. I'm very scared.

Did you figure out what caused all this for you?
Did you happen to fall at anytime before those symptoms came in, or had any testing for Sensory nerve damage?
