Flutter valve and nebulizer together at the same time
Can I nebulize by breathing in the solution and out through my flutter valve-killing two birds with one stone? If, so, how and when do I do the huff cough. I was nebulizing first and then using my flutter valve and doing the huff cough. What is the recommended procedure?

NJH recommends both at the same time, Dr Shane says sodium chloride first, wait and the do aerobika. I tried both and I think the “ together” works better for my almost nothing coughing up bronchiectasis. I also tried, and do it: first half a vial only nebulizing and then attaching aerobica to aeroclipse for the “together”for the other half. Just try what works for you

4 ReactionsDr. Winthrop at OHSU also recommends nebbing saline first, then Aerobika, so that’s what I do.

5 ReactionsI have been using the aerobics and nebulizer together for several years. My pulmunologist suggested adding the vest. With the vest I did not notice any increase in sputum.
