My issue stems from my significant weight loss over this past year. It resulted in saggy skin under chin and on neck. There’s really nothing that can help but surgery. I wish there was. I used to have a firm, thin neck, so it’s disconcerting.

I’ve had several cosmetic procedures and don’t regret them. There are risks, of course, but if approved, I’ll have more. I recently lost a lot of weight, so skin surgery is now very likely for me. First, I’m getting my neck done. Since, I’ve already had 2 Blepharoplasty surgeries, my eyes are ok. The neck is sagging though. I wish needling could help, but probably not. So, I may do lower face lift. I intend to get more botox soon. I haven’t had any in many years.

I have type 1 diabetes and healed just fine with my procedures, even cosmetic dental work. Two, surgeries to raise my gum line and upper porcelain veneers.

i like to look and feel my best. To me, discussing it with my doctor and then weighing the risks has worked. Also, check out the surgeon. I always check to see if there have been anylawsuits filed against them. Investigate their record first.

I’m interested in a facelift but was wondering about all the facial moisturizers
that are made totally with chemicals. Have developed dark spots and redness on my face. Has anyone looked into a beef tallow face moisturizer. Totally made with natural products. Thanks looking forward to any recommendations, replies, suggestions, information

I suggest you don't bother. You will be 83 in ten years and, believe me, you won't care then!

I am 87 and I care a lot. I put on full makeup everyday whether I go out or not.

lizabeth4,
Good for you! I'm 78 and I put on full makeup everyday too plus sparkly earrings whether I'm going out or not. It makes you feel better about yourself and that's important!

I had a face lift at about age 57. It was great. It's important to consider what you want to include. If I were to do it now, I'd definitely include my neck. You may wish to check out the website for L&P Aesthetics, just for their gallery. I'm going to have laser resurfacing there soon, but not a face lift.

I aged very early with sagging jowls and neck skin. I had a face, neck, and forehead lift at 47 and it was the smartest thing i ever did. I didn't have courage to get the eye lift. I would do that as well if I could wind back the clock - just in a separate procedure. I am 74 today.

Geez. Your assumption we can’t figure out the variables for ourselves is odd. For the record I had a face lift only for myself 27 years ago. And I did enough research to know what to expect afterward. I didn't try to hide it but was able to work from home for a bit. I would do it again in a heart beat.

I never felt embarrassed about my blepharoplasties. My first was cosmetic, (upper and lower lids). The second upper bilateral was functional. It had a cosmetic side effect though. I felt blessed I had the opportunity to get them. I didn’t even wear makeup to attempt to cover the bruising.

I’ll be the same way about any new surgeries. I’m proud of getting it done. I guess it’s a matter of perspective. I never kept the fact I got botox secret either. I loved it. It kept me from looking so stern. I might get that too!
