I had one at 46 because those cute apple cheeks sagged really early. Had brow lift for sagging upper eyes as well.
If your doc clears you, go for it!!

If a person is healthy enough for this surgery, and they have done their research in finding the best doctor, they should do it. Anything that makes a person feel better about themselves; gives them more confidence is a good thing. I had a rhinoplasty in my 30s and it was a wonderful experience.

I just did a search and the Mayo Clinic has in depth information worth considering.

The most important thing is to get a board certified plastic surgeon that you trust and one who has a long track record. The site WebMD indicates that there are three professional associations: The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (the oldest group); the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery; and the American Academy of Dermatology (they do smaller procedures like chemical peels, dermabrasion, eyelid surgery.) Best of luck to you!

I'm 82. I had a facelift around 48. Eyes, throat all of it. I've never regretted it. It followed me as I aged. I still don't have saggy eyelids. The muscle that causes one to frown was cut and I've always had a smooth brow.

I would be cautious. If you are in sterling health, that is one thing. But, you know, I would just be cautious.

I’ve had several cosmetic procedures and don’t regret them. There are risks, of course, but if approved, I’ll have more. I recently lost a lot of weight, so skin surgery is now very likely for me. First, I’m getting my neck done. Since, I’ve already had 2 Blepharoplasty surgeries, my eyes are ok. The neck is sagging though. I wish needling could help, but probably not. So, I may do lower face lift. I intend to get more botox soon. I haven’t had any in many years.

I have type 1 diabetes and healed just fine with my procedures, even cosmetic dental work. Two, surgeries to raise my gum line and upper porcelain veneers.

i like to look and feel my best. To me, discussing it with my doctor and then weighing the risks has worked. Also, check out the surgeon. I always check to see if there have been anylawsuits filed against them. Investigate their record first.
