@trots72 Hello Bryan, Yes, we have been getting our Apixaban (Eliquis) through LifeRx for about 2 1/2 years. They offer several shipment sources, all of which list different prices. We chose to get ours from their supplier in India. The price this year is about $84.00 for 180 5 mg tablets and that includes shipping costs! It takes 4-6 weeks to receive the order. Communication is sketchy sometimes but we have always received our meds. They do not accept credit cards, only checks. I was a bit nervous the first few times I ordered but so far, so good and a few months ago my husband started taking Jardiance which we now get from them.
This company has saved us a LOT of money! Good luck to you and bless you for being there for your mother. Pam/blinken
Bryan, I forgot to mention that you will need a written prescription to send or photograph to send to LifeRx. The ones our doctor provides us with is a typed 8 1/2 X 11 full sheet rather than the old pocket-size script pad prescription.
@blinken My mother has to get eliquis but can't afford it. Did the liferx come thru for you. I was reading the comments and you said you were placing a order. Thanks Bryan

@earther I can't give you a time frame other than it is usually a little less than 6 weeks. Some times 3 weeks, sometimes 4 or so. It has never taken more than 6 weeks. What they promise is 4-6 weeks. I used to order online but recently have called refill orders in. I was concerned after the tariff thing started but that time it took only 3 weeks and even though I ordered from the source in India, the shipment came from the UK. They will provide tracking numbers (sometimes) as I said, sketchy communication, but if you begin to worry about getting it on time, just call them and usually they can determine where the shipment is. There were times when it seemed to get delayed in Delhi but other times it was held in customs in the US. It might be different if ordered from their sources other than India, but the costs in the other locations are more costly. Prices are displayed on their website.

Just FYI, LifeRx is not listed as verified by the Canadian International Pharmacy Association (CIPA). All guidance I've read says to ensure that any company we order from be verified by them as CIPAsafe: https://www.cipa.com/cipa-safe-pharmacies
I did eventually get a hold of my cardiologist and he recommended pharmstore.com. And sent a prescription for 200 Apixaban 2.5mg which is a 100 days supply for me.
I’ve heard others recommend canadadrugwarehouse.com as a reliable source.
Thanks for the recommendation.
Christine

Eliquis is apixaban. I get my drug from the Pharmstore in Canada. I have a choice of getting the drug from a Canadian firm or from the U.K. (among others). Having worked for a major pharmaceutical company for 21 years I am very comfortable buying generics from Canada. The choice is $500 for a month supply or $260 for a three month supply. My doctors always write my prescriptions for the Canadian pharmacies. They encourage the savings.
@bigheart - I have a question because you mentioned having "worked for a major pharmaceutical company for 21 years:"
Do you truly feel as confident in the generic as in Eliquis. I ask because I tried drugstore brands of quit-smoking products years ago, and they never worked. But when I forked out the money for the name brand, it did, so I've since thought there must be some shortcuts in ingredients.
I've been taking Eliquis for only 3.5 months and am overdue to order a 90-day refill, so belatedly doing more research.
I think that is the same Canadian firm that I use. (But a lot of them have very similar names)
I just reordered and it was about $60 for two blister packs of 100 each. I believe mine comes from India. Takes a long time from order date to received , like about a month.
@beebo -- Thanks for including the delivery lag time. The farther away it ships from, the longer it takes to get to the USA, from what I can tell. That makes sense, of course, but it must be considered.
@blinken Thank you for the reply I'll look in to that for my mother.. Thanks again
