Has anyone had muscle pain in the back and legs while on Eliquis? If so could you describe the pain and location?

@rushhome I should correct that he told me I have a flutter, that is something I picked up in the after visit summary. We did not discuss that change. I will ask the EP when we meet.
@ladyrotterdam I wish you the best. For you it’s the joint pain that’s hanging on. For me it was the GI stuff. It finally faded out but it took months. I’m still so hyper aware about what I’m eating. I have a nightly relaxation routine that really works and so far no Afib for a year next month 🤞🏼. All the bad effects have faded I think. I hope the same comes soon for you.

1 ReactionOh yes terrible pain right now in my right knee and below it, like terrible inflammation, and my knee now wants to go out of socket feeling and clicking.. almost can’t walk on it.. been almost 2 months.. also lower back pain.. Doctors say it’s not from Eliquis.. I don’t believe that… I’ve never had problems in my life like this until I started taking blood thinner.. also seen a lot of people say they take Eliquis for years and hasn’t bothered them one bit, but I know we’re not all the same, Doctors should look at it like one size does not fit all… but so far they don’t.. idk 🤷♀️ it makes it so hard cause I need to be on them unless I get a watchman.. don’t know allot about doing that.. getting on sites like this to hear from real people and their experiences!!! Hugs to everyone!!!

2 ReactionsThere was a post months ago re a person whose doctor decided to put her on Warfarin. First thing I tell a new doctor is no Eliquis. Even with a regime,I'd go on Warfarin. I was on Eliquis because I had a saddle pulmonary embolism a year and two months ago and have been off Eliquis for maybe six months or so. The odd thing is it seems symptoms change. Even though I am better in many ways, my walk is still "off." I'd never had very nice people ask "can I help. you" when I think I'm walking better. But, for me, I survived something many people don't and I laugh at what I might have been fussed about previously. Hugs and caring for each of you.
