If you take DUPIXENT how long before you felt good or could tell you were feeling better or different. I know it’s for flare ups, but should reduce some inflammation intake lung to?

I felt a difference after 2 days. Felt good after 2 weeks. No more wheezing, extreme shortness of breath, or coughing. I shoot myself with the pen every 2 weeks. Taking 10th dose next week. Oh, and i have only used my albuterol once since beginning Dupixent. ( not sure i really needed it ) Good luck!👍

2 ReactionsI took Dupixent every 2 weeks for 11 months—Nov thru September. It helped keep me from having exacerbations and also slightly increased my resting saturation rates from 92-93 to sometimes 94-95%. Didn’t notice much difference in my breathing.

1 Reaction@hicopd sounds great. I feel like I am breathing better, I’m just on my second shot the first week. I could probably breathe much better if one side of my nose didn’t stay stuffy. Using the.ayr gel and nasal spray for that. Definitely not giving up. Thank you guys.
Does Ins cover Dupixent? Or is there a patient assistance program?
@1886 i am on a medicare advantage plan that i pay the first $2100 , then they pay the rest.( it’s over $4k per month for this stuff ) if you’re not medicare eligible, there are grants for this drug.

I took the 3rd dose yesterday 200mg every other week for allergic asthma, I wish I could notice a difference. Still need to use the rescue inhaler. Have ACOS (asthma and COPD).

1 ReactionI never used reduce inhaler—maybe a few times/year before and while taking Dupixent. Didn’t have ANY exacerbations while on Dupixent—had been having 1-6 per year from 2000 through presenter except during covid when we were all hermits.
