Does everyone have a percussion vest

I wonder who gets a percussion vest when with bronchiectasis and MAC. For months my pulmonologist would say I did not qualify; I do have and use it now and I find it helpful.

Why would cavitation prevent vest recommendation? My pulmonologist is ordering one for me, only because I told him my ID thought it might be a good idea. I'm not really comfortable with my pulmonologist and am in the process of finding a new one so in the meantime I have to scrutinize everything he says.

Dr Eddy at NJH had the concern for me as I have cavitation and prescribed a Volara instead. I can't use the Volara as it causes ear issues due to the pressure.

Dr Eddy at NJH had the concern for me as I have cavitation and prescribed a Volara instead. I can't use the Volara as it causes ear issues due to the pressure.

Thanks Rick. I think I will hold off until I find a pulmonologist that I am comfortable with.
