Do you have an inspiring or favorite quote to share?

I'll start with three quotes from the very inspiring Helen Keller as noted in "Your Year of Healing" book by Amit Sood, MD:

"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart."

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

LIFE BRINGS TEARS, SMILES AND MEMORIES.
THE TEARS DRY, THE SMILES FADE
BUT THE MEMORIES LAST FOREVER.

OUR LIVES WOULD BE DIFFERENT IF WE COULD RELATE TO
"DEATH" AS A FAMILIAR GUEST INSTEAD OF AS A THREATENING STRANGER.

.....6am and been awake since 4.30am, the favorite time my neighbours go to bed but not before slammng their patio door closed after going out for a smoke? anyway mind wandering and was thinking about we humans after just reading the world news on line and how small we all on in the big scheme of things... to an insect we are giants, but to giants we are fleas: I actually was surfing and this old saying popped up, which I now recall:
"Great fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite 'em, / And little fleas have lesser fleas, and so ad infinitum"
...how true !

People talk about their regrets. I have no regrets. Regrets are about things that happened in the past. You cannot change the past. Whatever happened in the past, no matter how bad, it cannot be changed. So why have regrets? I believe our lives are predestined before birth. But you can change your path if you want but it was still meant to be. So let go of any guilt you may have. Myself, I’ve had an interesting and wild life. No regrets. If something horrible happened I consider it a mistake or poor judgment and an experience.
