Do you have an inspiring or favorite quote to share?
I'll start with three quotes from the very inspiring Helen Keller as noted in "Your Year of Healing" book by Amit Sood, MD:
"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart."
"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

4 Reactions..not my favourite and not necessarily "inspiring" but seems I use these words more and more as the monts/years go by mainly due to poor health: "I could be worse" Things is mentally I know that.. but sometimes when down because of pain etc. I admit I do feel sorry for myself, is all.

1 ReactionFrom ‘Full Catastrophe Living’ by Jon Kabat-Zinn:
…..I have felt the phrase “the full catastrophe” captures something positive about the human spirit’s ability to come to grips with what is most difficult in life and to find within it room to grow in strength and wisdom…..”

I think it’s perfectly fine to feel sorry for yourself, especially if no one else does! Blessings.

1 Reaction...maybe not inspiring and not favourite quote: but my Mum (passed away years ago) often used to say to someone (in a nice way:
"There's no one perfect except me and thee.. and I'm not to sure about thee."
We all know this one, but I have to remind myself all the time.
“Never put off until tomorrow things you can do today, for tomorrow will have troubles of its own”
There is another version. “Never put off till tomorrow, what you can do the day after tomorrow”, Mark Twain
