Discussion on Acute Coronary Syndrome?

Posted by artist01 @artist01, Nov 2 8:53pm

I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Coronary Syndrome, but don’t know yet if I’ve had an actual heart attack. I see my cardiologist tomorrow at the hospital to learn of possible damage to my heart caused by an event last week. I was hospitalized for five days, going by ambulance to the hospital with a blood pressure of 250/125 and Tropinin level at 203, chest discomfort, nausea, shakiness, etc.
Many of you know me as being quite active on Mayo Clinic Connect in past years regarding Giant Cell Arteritis and a host of other ailments! I’ve hit 90 now so I’m still hanging on to my favourite self-made mantra: “I want to live to be 97, and then re-negotiate!”
