Difficutly breathing in the shower
Hi. I was diagnosed with MAI several months ago and have opted to be monitored before starting treatment. My oxygen level is mostly 92, a drop from my average 93-94. Lately, I find that I can't breathe properly in the shower. Has anyone with MAI or MAC experienced such?

That is it! Don't stop living because we are afraid to do simple stuff like taking a shower. Keep the hot water heater on at least 130 and be quick. I enjoy my daily shower and am not giving it up no matter what. Have the fan on above the shower, open the door if you must and window. Also my Dr. told me to get a water filter for the shower. Also those rain shower heads where the the water just comes down like rain and doesn't airate the water and shoot it every which a way. My Dr's have all encouraged me to just live my life but take precautions. For instance I work in the yard with a N95 mask and gloves on. I have already decided if and when the time comes, I will just take a shower with a N95 mask on.
I just took off my showerhead in hopes of having a nice, hot shower. I’m still thinking of going ahead and purchasing an Aquamedix water filter for my wall shower. If the water is hot, wouldn’t there stillbe steam that we shouldn’t inhale in both these situations?
