Did I stop growing? Am I cooked
When I was 14 1/2 years old I went to the doctor's office and was measured at 5'10. This was in early August 2023. My mother mentioned my shoe size (13) to the doctor and he was confident I'd grow to 6'1 "within a year or two". My father is around 5'9 and at tallest could've been 5'10. My mother is around 5'2 1/2 and at tallest may have been 5'6 or 5'7 (according to her driver's licence). In early October 2024, I was measured at the same exact height, on the dot. I thought I may have grown since I felt taller, but I guess it was all in my head. It's been 3 1/2 months since I was last measured and I'm no taller than 5'10 or 5'10 1/2. if I had to guess and I have 6 1/2 months until the start of junior year, which is the end of the time frame the doctor said I'd grow to 6'1 within. Do I have any chance whatsoever of continuing to grow or am I cooked.

@kennytheclown123 No way are you "cooked" - unless you told your girlfriend or your best friend you were going to be 6' tall by age 16? It is not at all unusual for guys to continue to grow until they are 19 or even 20 - my youngest brother grew 2" between the ages of 19 -21, and got to be 5'10" (tall for our family.) On the other hand, if you were female the answer would be very likely, yes. Girls usually stop growing taller in their early to mid-teens. I was 5'2" at age 12, taller than many of my male classmates - and I never grew another fraction of an inch.
I have a 9 year old grandson who is also worried, as he and his buddy are the shortest kids in 3rd grade. His Dad tells him not to worry - that he never really started to get taller until he was 12, and grew 2 more inches after he graduated high school - he is 5'8" now - but his brother is over 6'.
My Dad was only 5'4" tall, but he was a giant of a man in everyone's eyes - he was kind, hardworking, helpful and a wonderful friend. He always told us "It isn't the package that counts, it's what is inside."
So, you probably will grow some more, but maybe you should let nature take it's course and spend you energy on "what's inside"
