Diagnosed with Nonrheumatic mitral Valve Insufficiancy
Hello, I was just Diagnosed with Nonrheumatic Mitral Valve Insufficiancy from my Echo. I am a male, age 53. I have a LV wall thickness that is the upper limits of normal and a moderately dialated left Atrium. My aortic valve is abnormal with the valve mildly thickened. I have palpitation symptoms. The question I have is should I be aggressive and have surgery or do the watchful waiting approach? I am due for a TEE to get a better view of my situation. An
