COVID vaccines and neuropathy

Posted by cue @cue, Feb 15, 2021

I am 85 with small fiber neuropathy that is getting worse. My neurologist thought it would be a good idea for me to wait with the covid vaccine and not be first in line to see how it affected other people with neuropathy. Probably because it is a new technology. Has anyone had a problem with neuropathy after receiving the vaccine? If so, which vaccine?

I am not a nonvaccine person. I simply had an allergic reaction that affected my nervous system. In 15 specialists across many fields including my team of regular doctors no one knows enough about the vaccine to treat the nerve damage it did. When I am out of remission I am on fire all over and pedisone is used to put it back in check. When I am in remission I mimmic MS but dont have the disease. Tingling knees to toes both feet, elboes to hands, cheeks, lips always salty. Stress is a factor in flare up. I always have to wear a mask and sanatize as I can never have another vaccine. Anyone know anything that can help me?

I took my second booster in Jan 2021. Less than two months later my heart was going all over the place. I had a one month holter monitor test. Diagnosed with cardiac autonomic neuropathy due to the Covid shots. My cardiologist and electrophsiologist said it’s very well documented in the journal of cardiology. There’s nothing that can be done. I am trying to get IVIG therapy. I was told from the time of being diagnosed you have approximately seven years left to live. We shall wait and see. My cardiac meds were just upped. I take them three times a day. The dosage was no longer controlling the arrhythmias.

I never had a 2nd shot. They stopped mine in hopes of stopping more damage. They told me all my heart tests turned out good.

yes , I had two shots and developed AN autonomic neuropathy, I want to sue Pfizer for doing this to me! Is there any legal action I can take part in?

I would love to sue them. We signed a disclaimer before getting the shot. We were stationed in Germany. If you did not have the shot could not get back into the US. If you figure out how to sue them let me know. They knew the side effects before making it mandatory.

Yes, I've had 3 Covid injections. The first 2 were fine, but the 3rd one I was very sick and in bed. I remember my hands even hurt, which was unusual for me. I am reluctant to take another Covid vaccine. I'm pretty much a "home body" anyway. I'm 69 yo and was diagnosed in 2020.

Thank you for this info. After reading your story I know I am not going to take another Covid shot. It's just too risky. I hope things get better for you.
