I have a question for you. Do you know forsure it is coming up from your chest or is it from your nose or drainage from your nose. I have had same issues. Thanks God mine is mostly only in my brain. About 5 months ago I was like you. I have had bronchitis 10 times before covid but it was all from my chest. Anyways 5 months ago I had what felt like something but it wasn't coming from my lungs. I went to walk in clinic. The doctor said it was drainage from my nose to throat. I tried to blow my nose, Nothing, Coughing nothing. He put me on antibiotics and steroids. Also did a chest xray. Also a nasal inhaler. It finally went away. I never before covid in 2020 had any allergies. Maybe this is a new thing I got from covid. The gift that keeps giving. Hope you get the help you deserve.

@kevtan no I can’t tell where the flem comes from.too much to be from sinus drainage.and lung X-ray clear.I can’t tell where it’s coming from.but it’s episodes last for about two hours mostly about 6 pm every day is the worst’s time

Yes when I went I also got chest x-rays. All clear. Since having other lung issues before covid I thought it was Bronchitis again or Pneumonia. Had them both many times before covid. Anyways I didn't believe the clinic doctor but when talking to him his wife is a long covid suffer. I have tried to get back to see him and ask if she has ever found someone in town for help. The place won't tell me his schedule or what days or clinic he is at. I hate to just drive around to 7 different clinics in town to look for him. Once I got the 10 days of antibiotics and the 6 days of steroids and a inhaler it all got better after 14 days. I wish you luck.

@kevtan
I suffer from the same. It's sinus drainage causing me to cough. If I stop chewing cinnamon gum, it comes back.

Omg. Well stock up on the cinnamon gum. Lol

Very similar symptoms for 19 months post COVID. I know for sure mine is from my lungs not sinus drainage. My 2nd opinion pulmonologist is amazing & did tons of blood work then referred me to an immunologist for more blood work. Currently he’s looking at immunoglobulin deficiency as a possible cause of the continued phlegm. Maybe this will help your journey?
