@ucfsig What treatments are you referring to? When I see medication/supplement ads on Facebook or elsewhere on the internet (or as it once was in tabloid papers and newsstand magazines), my "spidey sense" immediately kicks into high gear, and I assume scam until proven other wise.

Remember, for chronic conditions like elevated blood pressure, there is no single miracle cure - controlling it naturally is ALWAYS a combination of lifestyle changes like weight loss, healthy diet, exercise, reducing or eliminating alcohol and tobacco, and getting better sleep and rest. IF yours is not severe, and the damage so far is mild, you may be able to make these changes and manage. I did this for years, but a combination of age, genetics, and other chronic diseases caught up, and I now use a low dose medication to help.

Here is what Mayo Clinic has to say about controlling BP without medication:

When it comes to supplements and cures, here are the keys to identify scams:
- promises to cure with a single supplement, tonic or "simple thing"
- available "exclusively" or "for a limited time" or "special deal"
- only on a certain website
- glowing testimonials, but not one single negative review
- supposedly "approved by" Mayo or any other big medical center, or promoted by a celebrity
- failing to list the ingredients exactly, including quantity of each one

What lifestyle changes have you tried to reduce your blood pressure?
