Copd, pulmonary fibrosis, mac bacterial infection and honeycomb lung
My husband has been diagnosed with all four of these and I just want to understand more about what is to be expected. And what I can do to help.

Dont know if it will open or not
@@tmmmrlts- It sounds like the doctor was making a general statement, not just in regard to your husband. I don't know what is in store for you for the next few months, I'm sorry.
Let me ask you a couple of questions. How did you get your husband out of the house to the doctor's? If he's not completely bed ridden than perhaps it's not your husband's time.

@tmmmrlts- Ok, I'm not a doctor but the radiologist's report sure does state that he's at end stage PF. What does this new doctor say about what needs to be done now?
@tmmmrlts -Don't forget, I'm not a doctor or radiologist. Some doctor's don't look at films, they just read the report.
@tmmmrlts I might suggest that you not put reports like this on a public forum. It's your husband's private report. I'm sorry. I was able to open it.
He can still walk and my mom and dad both died of copd. My mom was 69 and not bed ridden until the last week of hers. My dad was 84 and he wasn't bedridden either he could walk with a walker. Until he went to the hospital.
@merpreb I was wanting you to see what it said I'm sorry
He says there are treatments and things he can do. But I have not found anything that says that. We will find out more Monday i guess.
@tmmmrlts - Has your husband said anything about feeling that he was dying- NOT that he wanted to die. Do you think that he's at end stage? Many times patients have outlived their test results. What do you think?
@tmmmrlts- Then bring up the discrepancy of what the scans say and he says! You need to get this squared away in your mind!
