Confused by PFT. So much to absorb ! What are the treatments for Mild, Moderate and Severe ?

I have end stage COPD and smoked for 40 years. right now, I am on 24/7 oxygen at 2 Lflow and have been told to stay in a base line of o2 saturation of 88-92. I was hospitalized last week for acute co2 retention. Right now, I am feeling flushed with co2 build-up and was wondering if anyone else had that "Flushed" feeling. Using a spiro and getting more than 50% but am fearful I will be sent to the hospital again. would appreciate any feedback!

Have your providers suggested any way of helping you reduce the CO2 retention? I have heard that some folks use a bi-pap to help with that. Maybe you could ask your providers whether something like that may be appropriate for you.
