Have you had a Cisternogram?

Hello. I am new here. Not sure if this would be the correct group to ask this or not but figured it was worth a shot. .. I am curious if anyone has had a cisternogram done and if so what can I expect from it. I have one ordered for this coming week. All they told me was a lumbar puncture to inject the dye then I go back and forth to be scanned and rescanned like 4 times ( I don't even know what kind of scan!) So if anyone has any info that would be of help thank you

Welcome @liltrouble81, I did a search of the discussions on Connect and was not able to find a member who discussed having a cisernogram in a post. I did find some details of the procedure that might be helpful to learn more.

Does your doctor suspect you have a spinal fluid leak?

That's what the Dr is looking for yes. A leak doesn't show up on my Brain MRI but he has a strong suspicion I have one so now he ordered the cisternogram to check.
