Chronic Nausea, Told Not GI Related, Have GERD. What Dr should I see?

Posted by mikejjb123 @mikejjb123, Jul 27, 2022

I have chronic daily nausea. Seen a Gastro and had all possible tests which came back negative. Now told nausea not related to the GERD. Not sure of next steps. Even had my gallbladder tested. I have colitis but it is under control. What kind of dr should I see next? Internist? Neurologist? Thanks. I am lost and confused.

Has your gastro Dr done an endoscope? Have you been tested for Hpylori. He can order stool test with lab or biopsy during endoscopy if need be.

Got it. These meds didn’t help me long term, either. Consider the alternatives and talk with PCP about off-label meds. Let me know what you find.
