Chest pain and panic still persist despite being cleared
I am 22, and upon having chest pain for a while, I did my 2D echo, echodiaram, ECG, and Trop I, and everything came out normal.
Despite that, every time I get chest pain, I feel like this might be different from before, particularly because a while ago I read through some AI that a healthy heart can still get a heart attack despite clear test.

Thanks for the above link. I'm searching for information about brain fog with microvascular angina. Also for information about cardiac rehab and MCV. I did a couple of months of cardiac rehab this summer and while my legs got stronger, my angina increased as did fatigue. During the hot humid months, angina was persistent and I felt like there was a weight on my brain. Better with cool weather. My provider has suggested a trial of dapagliflozin but reading the possible side effects, I'm not willing to take the risk at this point.

1 Reaction@saratree43 I don’t handle the hot weather very well either. I think we are like Goldilocks…neither too hot or too cold for us, it has to be just right. Are you on Ranolazine? I have been on a cocktail of Ranolazine, IMDUR and beta blockers for almost 7 years. It helps a lot. I was switched off metoprolol for nebivolol this year, this change has made a big difference for me. I seem to recover from exercise and outing a bit sooner. I tried amlodipine a couple years ago, definitely was a no go. Edema, brain fog, severe fatigue and depression. I agree with you on the dapagliflozin.
Big hugs, Vania G
@vaniag Tried ranolazine and it trashed my gut. I’m on isosorb, amlodipine and a statin. Scheduled tor MOHS surgery in my nose to remove yet another skin cancer plus plastic reconstruction the following day. When I’m healed from this I plan to do the work-up for the COSIRA study. I’m thinking of taking a break from the statin for 2 weeks just to see if that changes the fatigue. Thanks for responding—it’s good to hear what you’ve experienced.
@saratree43 I am so sorry to hear about the Mohs on the nose. My brother had it there too…such a sensitive place. I am hope you heal quickly. Man, when it rains it pours. It is good to have a support group. We all go through things…a little better when you know part of the universe is supporting and cheering us on…
Bigger hugs 🤗!!!!
Best, Vania G
