Anyone made changes in diet since diagnosis or treatment?

Has anyone changed their diet regimen after diagnosis/treatment of High-Grade NMIBC. I see some recommendations to increase raw cruciferous vegetable intake (broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, cabbage). Also, avoiding a Western dietary pattern high in red/processed meat, fat, and refined grains. Not sure if it will help prognosis, but just wondering if anyone has come across this or if their doctors address diet.

Thank You

Hi I was also diagnosed with High-Grade NMIBC. I am currently cancer free at month 6 from a Radical Cystectomy with Neo Bladder back in Oct of 2025. My PA (Dr) recommends a diet you are describing. So what you are doing is good. More dark green vegetables. I eat smaller meals more spread out. I am consuming a lot of broccoli sprouts as it ends up producing Sulforaphane, which is a potent sulfur-rich compound found in cruciferous vegetables—especially broccoli sprouts—known for its strong antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and potential anticancer properties. It is activated when vegetable tissues are damaged (chopped or chewed), releasing the enzyme myrosinase to convert glucoraphanin into active sulforaphane. It is known to potentially help cancer situations and health over all. I also am limiting any processed foods and trying to exercise as much as I can. Dealing with training my Neo Bladder is a huge challenge for me but I am getting better with it over time. I chose the procedure Radical Cystectomy with Neo Bladder as my Dr said it was the most curative plan for my situation.
I send you healing thoughts and positive energy and hope you have the best outcome for your situation.
