Cervical epidural scheduled. Your experiences?
Hello all,
I am scheduled to get a cervical epidural I two weeks. I am really scared. Can you share your experience with this procedure, if you had it. Also, appreciate any tips to get through this. They will try this before exploring surgical options. I am in excruciating pain in my neck radiating down my arm to the fingers. Many times I feel like an electrical shock running through my arm. Any help, suggestions is greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Never had nor needed one. Did pass go and go direct to fusion. Neck is fine now.
Cervical epidural was good for me- had it done June 10 and was told to allow 10 days or so for results. It did not take away all pain but about 50%. No need to worry yourself- Try some deep breathing (slow and steady) during it.
If you have not had an MRI it is such a good option. And you will find out so many answers from that. My PCP ordered mine after PT and chiro did not help. Good luck!
