I have neuropathy more advanced than anything yoga, showers, or resting could mitigate. It used to feel like tingles, now it's red hot fireworks shooting up my legs 8 or 10 times per second and it keep going until I take gaba or lyrica and wait for it to take effect. It gets worse when I rest, the pain subsides while I'm walking and running. It has worsened in a short amount of time, 6 months. Peggy
Very interesting! I'm with you. !.had no luck with the CBD oil. My store did offer an ointment but it was way too weak to be of anything but limited help. That was alll they had. Any suggestions as to how to get my hands on the ratio ointment you use?

I have diabetic Neuropathy. Anyone have experience with CBD oil for diabetic neuropathy?
The pain is in the balls of my feet and toes.
It came on after a 70 kilometer walk over 4 days. Both feet at the same time and started with pins and needles..3 years later now and it's just pain.
Raw burning sensation and worse when I walk but OK when I sleep or feet up.
It hasn't spread but I'm desperate. Tried everything..Lyrica has too many side effects..

Sounds like you've tried lots of remedies for this pain and raw burning sensation that get worse when you walk, and I trust these members will have some input on whether CBD oil might help with your diabetic neuropathy.
It sounds as though you've had a specialist diagnose your diabetic neuropathy and also prescribe the pregabalin (Lyrica) that you found to have too many side effects. What did your physician suggest trying next to manage this pain?
Yes. Just started using CBD oil for idiopathic peripheral neuropathy, both feet. Have had PN for past 30 years, controlled somewhat with traditional meds, but a few months ago meds not working anymore. One thing I worry about is that the CBD market is like the wild west. We have to trust the producers completely about amount of CBD in bottle and where it comes from. There are no scientific studies that that I am aware of. You will read on lots of websites "its good for pain", but nothing documented. So..me sites say "Take 20-30 mg; once or twice per day. That means a range of 20-60. How useful is that? What would happen if Tylenol directions said "take 1/2 to full tablet once or twice/day?"Anyway, just started using CBD oil a few weeks ago. Some days seems to work, but other days not so good. Tip:keeping under tongue difficult for 90 seconds if sitting upright, because mouth filsl with saliva diluting CDB strength. I tip my head back, then insert the oil. Also smear on "Lidocaine 5% Topical ointment" Again, some days seems to work; others not. Even when it works feet still hurt if I walk just a few steps. Relieves the pain if just sitting down. There are no magic bullets.

Addendum: I live in Nevada where rec and med legal. Just started using something called: "Select CBD drops"made by "Cura Wellness" says 1,000 mg/dose of CBD.(one dropper is suggested dose/day) Today it's useless
CBD doesn't work for me when my pain is severe. I use THC 70/CBD 30 ratio ointment at night.reduces pain, allows me to sleep.

Cymbalta, only worse; ended up in hospital for 2 days.
Had horrible side effects from Lyrica. Quit in less than 24 hours. And this happened even with half dose of MD recommendation
