@missy10 California serogroup (CSG) viruses include many viruses. Many do not develop symptoms, but it sounds like you unfortunately developed encephalitis, inflammation of the brain. @arnoldee @sleepapnea2021 experienced encephalitis with West Nile virus and may have experiences to share.

1 ReactionThank you for responding me. I’ve been struggling for three years with constant trembling in my arms which are not visible. This usually dissipates in the evening. I still have poor balance. I have a visible right hand tremor which I can control. Proprioception skills are not back to normal. I walk with no fluidity and have a audible toe slap when I walk with shoes . Really the worst symptom is the almost unbearable trembling.
My neurologist has been treating me with Carbidopa/Levadopa because she calls my symptoms “Parkinson’s “ like. She also just weaned me off Clonezpam. Nothing is helping the trembling which is really debilitating me. I’m not complaining because I got so much back. I’m just desperate to find someone who can help me. Thank you so much for your response to my question.
