Blood pressure during the watch and wait period, and after ?
As a follow on to my 46 AAA size question, I need to know what my pressure should be.
I know, low as posable under 80/120. I'm on a calcium blocker now and im usually at 75/125... which is good, but if measured after any activity, the 75 goes to around 80, but the upper will climb to 140 for just walking down the hall to 167 for full exertion breathing hard, heart rate up at 133 (tested that this morning) but that's taking it immediatly.. that 167 will fall back to 128 after 15 minutes. Does this seam reasonable or do I need more meds ?

I believe it is perfectly normal for blood pressure to increase with activity or exercise. Keeping your blood pressure at 120/80 or below is the target for your resting blood pressure. You may want to ask your cardiologist what an appropriate blood pressure is during activity or exercise.
Good luck with that... every Dr I've asked so far sidesteps the question. No one wants to be pinned down.
How old are you and what is your weight and height?
Fifteen minutes to get your BP back to normal range seems a bit long. Walking down the hall and getting winded is worrisome.
What is going on physical health wise?
I'm 69, 6 feet , 230 #.
They also found 35mm pulminary trunk (maybe hypertension)
Type 2 diabetic, neuropathy, (7 years gca, turning into pmr, so off and on pred) lumbar troubles (disc bulge)
Exactly my experience with a :family doctor of over 20 years and he said following a CT Scan to determine the diameter of my aneurysms and a simple question of how should I alter my gym regimen: NOTHING! hE PUT IN MY PATIENT pORTAL; He asks a lot of questions. But so far no answers. Most of them I am beginning to think or over paid and under-worked. But don''t tell them cause when you really need them, they do not need you.
