Has anyone tried a Vibration Plate for your balance issues ? And did it help at all?

Yes, I have used my vibration plate for balance and mobility. My balance did improve and I can do things on my VP that I cannot do without it. For example, if I stand on the floor and swing my arms back and forth I lose my balance. I do not lose my balance on the plate. My balance issues are due to my MS as well as chemo and radiation neuropathy. The plate has also improved my urinary incontinence. I don't just stand on the plate. I do a variety of exercises. I watch the videos from the CanerRehabPT.com on YouTube. I bought my plate off Amazon last year and its improved my balance a lot.

I am very much interested in foot neuropathy discussions relating to balance and coordination issues. I am so tired of falling and the associated injuries.

I have used a vibration plate for about 6 months and I can say definitively that daily use has improved my balance, flexibility, strength, and provided pain control for DDD in spine. Vibration therapy requires consistent daily use with prescribed exercise to be of benefit.

@mrj7368, The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has some helpful webinar videos on balance and neuropathy on their YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@foundationforperipheralneu4122/search.

Do you have pain with your neuropathy, or just numbness?

No pain I just can’t feel the soles of my feet. I will review the video links you sent. Thanks!

@mrj7368 I only have numbness with my neuropathy too and also have balance issues. I avoid shoes with super cushy soles which make the balance worse for me. I wear a zero drop sole shoe (barefoot type shoes) most of the time and only switch to shoes with a cushion if I have to walk any distance.

@mrj7368 well, you don't say your age and balance can be affected by it also.
I am a 80 years old male. I was okay up to September last year when I began to feel nubness in my legs, especially the right. My balance was good then.
I was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy in January and my balance is terrible. I have fallen several times at home and I laugh when it happens because I cannot believe it.
I am taking intensive therapy. I am buying some of the equipment used in the therapy place. I do a lot of therapy at home. Still I am not seeing getting better.
Good luck
