BAD Withdrawal Symptoms from Stopping CARVEDILOL Abruptly

I am very glad to come across this discussion group regarding our withdrawal of the Carvedilol.

I am 46m, I am on Carvedilol 3.125mg (twice /day) after my PFA ablation for my cold drink heart Afib. On this medication (together with blood thinner : Eliquis) for about 7 weeks from 4th May - 17th Jun (stopped cold turkey)

It was all fine at first, then the bad starting on the 2nd-3rd week, i started having lots of side effects such as high anxiety, nose conjection, fatique, dizzliness (to the point I do not have the confident to drive). My doc told me to stop Carvedilol on the 17th Jun immediately. And thats when it opens the whole new level of hell... .. .

After about 12 hours stopping the Carve, I start to experience weird unusual nervousness feeling with short of breath. At first I just thought that it is due to my lack of sleep.

The next day, I felt even worst, I am feeling so nervous, anxious and started taking lots of deep breaths, restlessness, cold hands and feets. And that's when I have to go to an ER. I stayed there under observation for 4 days:

Check include:
Blood tests for troponin, thyroid : normal
Heart Holter for 72 hours : normal

During my stay at the hospital, I noticed that there is some heart rate spike (+10 to 20bpm) when I change my sleep position. Thats scary.

Every morning since, I woke up by my adrenaline surge, feeling extreme nervous, trembling, cold hands and feets, depress.

Today is my 9th day since stopping Carvedilol, I am still not feeling 100% better, still having some nervouness and anxiety, certainly better that the 1st 7 days. Still no confident to drive yet. I hope all this hell feeling will goes away soon!

To aid my sleep, I took 3mg Melatonin, magnesium glycinate 200mg and chamomile tea. I did a 15min mediation before bed which helps too.

Anyone here have the similar experience? Anyone got out of this Cavedilol's hell effects? Any tips to face this better?
