Atrial Septal Aneurysm
Does anyone have experience with an atrial septal aneurysm and treatment? I have Mitral Valve Prolapse with severe dilation of the left atrium (among other issues).
I also have trace pericardial effusion.
I'm trying not to stress because of my hypertension for which I am on meds but it sure is difficult.

Every time I read my results it makes me anxious however, it always gives me good questions to ask at my next appointment. I have CAD and had a double bypass 8 years ago now have HCM and also have an enlarged septum.
The more I learn the less it makes me anxious.
I recently found out from an echocardiogram that my left atrial is severely dialated. I went to the ER because I had a fever and then I was having a hard time breathing. I have had no symptoms since then and am seeing a cardiologist but I’m scared to death. Does anyone else have this problem? Mary
