Welcome to Mayo Connect. Any time you start a new medication and then have other symptoms it is concerning. I am not on weight loss medications, but I have a few questions that might help other members answer your question.
Do you care to share what weight loss medication you're on, dosage and how long you've been taking?
I think it is important that you talk to your provider about these symptoms. It might be caused by medication or something else.
Have you asked your provider about?

1 Reaction@roch I had RNY gastric bypass in 2009. Went from about 257 down to 127. I am now 72 and gained back about 45 pounds. Did resets, atkins, weight watchers, keto, Mediterranean, exercise and more. Couldn’t get it off! Finally decided to try Ozempic. Not cheap without insurance which I don’t have. Been on it for about four months now and 25 pounds down easily. Started at .25 weekly and very slowly went up to 1.50. Really had no side effects until 1.50. Had minor cramping and mild upset tummy. Cut dose down to 1.25 weekly which appears to be the dose for me. Hope to loose about 20 more pounds. I had lots of diarrhea before taking Ozempic and now poop normally. Guess I am one of the fortunate ones. No bad side effects so far. Plan to slowly reduce injection amount when I hopefully reach my goal and see what dose I can take to not regain and not loose further.
@shinymustard58 - I wanted to let you know I moved your post here to an existing discussion on semaglutide (Ozempic) after bariatric surgery so you could chat with others also talking about this. Here is the discussion:
