Anyone on Brinsupri having slightly elevated liver enzymes?
I have been on Brinsupri since November 2025. At my annual, my liver enzymes, AST ALT, and ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE (AP), were slightly elevated. So I have retaken the test twice more and AP continues to rise slightly (103, 130, 139) with the range of 48-129. ASPEN report says there were elevations in the enzymes throughout the study but they only considered it a rare side effect if it was 1.5 times the upper limit (129 x 1.5 =194). Does this mean its "safe" as long as the enzymes don't go over 194? If so, what is the range for? I have my primary and pulmo trying to make sense of this. I feel so much better on Brinsupri I would hate to give it up . Maybe this is something else but not bad.

That’s exactly what happens to me. Liver enzymes panel was within norms but my alkaline phosphate was 136 now 107. I talked to the specialty pharmacy pharmacist and she said to observe and have the blood work done every 2-3 months . If it is still too high, I could try 10 mg instead of 25 or stop. I also talked about it with my pulmonologist and actually he repeated the blood work(actually I asked for it)
My ALT and AST have elevated about 10% but my AP is within range. My lung treating physician said not to worry unless my ALT and AST numbers get up to 90 (currently in 40 range). I will have my doctors continue to monitor these values.
