Anyone know of a National directory of Cornea specialists?

My wife has calcium deposits on her eyes and will require laser surgery. We have a fine ophthamologist who specializes in this area. However,, he can only do the treatment at a hospital approximately thirty miles away. I cannot drive and my 97 year old should not drive. So I am looking to see if their is a resource directory out there where I might be able to locate one near us. Every specialist in our area works out of one clinic and they all do their laser surgeries at the same hospital. I have scoured the website and have not found any in our area. I pray that someone will be able to lead me to a resource. Thank you. Charles aka brotherchuckles80

That is a highly, highly specialized area. I am not sure you are going to find anything closer.

I would just focus on finding some mode of transportation there.

sorry about the problems.

best of luck.

Hi Charles, The American Academy of Ophthalmology has a search you can use to find specialists that might be helpful - https://secure.aao.org/aao/find-ophthalmologist.

Thank you John. We received very good news today. My wife's doctor's office called to tell us tha the doctor will do the procedure at a clinic about six miles from us. Both of us are relieved. God certainly works in mysterious ways. Thank you again. Charles aka brothrchuckles80
