Anyone have rebound symptoms without Paxlovid?

Posted by shawnasierra @shawnasierra, Nov 21, 2023

So last year I had covid three times. After the third time I had symptoms just like covid every week or two for several months with negative tests.
Early October this year I had covid, it was milder than before overall. But a few weeks after I started having symptoms again and negative tests. Here I am again with similar symptoms and negative. It seems to hang on for a few days and go away. I’ve never taken paxlovid.
I had a lot of long covid symptoms last year with fatigue and brain fog and newly developed food allergies. This time around it just feels like the symptoms keep coming back.
Anyone else experience recurring symptoms like this?

I'm not sure, but I think that you can be classified as having Long Covid even if you test negative, as long as you continue to have symptoms.

Yes, I have had recurring symptoms.

My son and I had Delta covid in Aug 2020. I recovered pretty well. He has had reoccurring symptoms for 3 years now. Low grade fever 100.4-101.8. Several times a week, chronic fatigue, headaches, GI issues to name a few. He is a senior in Hs and this round he has missed 9 weeks of school. Praying for a miracle so he can graduate om time.

I‘ve had very severe Covid very early on in 2020 and after 3 years still have constant and very difficult
rebounds - at least every two months or less - respiratory problems/ muscle pain /coughing /headaches/ brainfog /vertigo : everything Covid but lasting a week , sometimes less ..,
I am wondering about taking Paxlovid to stop those rebounds flaring up …
Does anyone have that same experience and Paxlovid helped ?

I had covid last may, September and October ( separated by negative tests). After a few months I stopped having symptoms, they were weekly then every couple weeks and eventually stopped. Could last from a day or two to several days. This time two weeks after covid I got sick again but my manager did too so we assumed it was a different virus. Now I am going on three weeks of nasty cough and sore throat which I believe is more from acid reflux which I had problems with last year after covid.
