I’m glad you are getting help from the VA!
All of my claims have been denied and appealed.
One of my denials was overturned by a law judge and I now have access to VA medical. I have 3 more claims being reviewed by a law judge and one claim in the determination level.
I’m really hoping for some positive outcome!

@antonone1 I only have a rating for tinnitus which is 10% maximum. The judge linked it to the toxic water at Lejeune…I sure hope whatever judge reviews the rest of my claims does the same thing!

@antonone1 no I haven’t but I have a law firm taking care of my appeals. I know the VSO would be free but I have to stay with the attorneys now.
It cost 20% of any back pay owed by VA for each claim and then no more fee. They take care of any hearings and evidence collection so I don’t mind the fee.

@mojo244 Still might be worth having a conversation with them. I found it very beneficial in understanding the process and receiving some additional medical benefits aside from the cancer issues.
Yes, VA providing hearing aids, eye glasses and prescription medicines. Treatment for bladder cancer is with Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.

1 Reaction@mojo244 Have you talked and met with your local Veterans Service Officer (VSO). Also Facebook has a group Camp Lejeune Toxic Water Survivors https://www.facebook.com/groups/289381365104193/
